The Induction Programme 2025 was organized on 12th September 2025 to warmly welcome the newly admitted B.Com., BBA and BCA students and help them understand the academic environment of the institute. The programme was attended by students, parents, faculty members and distinguished guests. It aimed to introduce students to the institution’s values, academic structure, rules, co-curricular opportunities and overall campus life, ensuring a smooth transition into their college journey.

Welcome, Inauguration and Leadership Address

The programme began with a Welcome Address by the hosts. It was followed by the Lamp Lighting Ceremony and Saraswati Vandana, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom. Dr. D. K. Garg addressed the students and motivated them to focus on discipline, dedication and continuous learning. He encouraged students to make full use of the opportunities provided by the institute. A special announcement was made regarding the selection of students for an upcoming foreign educational trip. Dr. (CA) Tushar Arya further explained the vision, mission, academic structure and learning outcomes of the programmes.

Guest Lectures and Alumni Interaction

  • Shri D. R. Bansal shared valuable insights on leadership, governance and professional ethics.
  • Smt. Medha Roopam motivated students to stay focused, responsible and committed to their goals.
  • Alumni Tapas Das Mohapatra and Kamini Kusum shared their career journeys and industry experiences.

Academic Orientation and Faculty Introduction

Students were introduced to their faculty members and academic mentors. A detailed briefing was given about the syllabus, teaching methods, internal assessments and examination pattern. Information regarding the academic timetable and communication channels was also shared. Presentations on teaching pedagogy, student life, co-curricular activities and institutional achievements helped students understand campus opportunities.

Rules, Regulations and Student Support Systems

  • Students were briefed about the institute’s rules, discipline, attendance policies and academic conduct.
  • Anti-ragging policies were clearly explained to ensure a safe campus environment.
  • The grievance redressal system was introduced for addressing student concerns.
  • Students were also informed about various committees, clubs and support cells available for their overall development.

Cultural Activities and Overall Outcome

Students presented cultural performances including classical dance, choir singing and regional dances (Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and Rajasthani). Senior students shared their experiences and guided the newcomers about campus life. These activities created a friendly, engaging and inclusive atmosphere.

The Induction Programme 2025 successfully introduced students to the academic, cultural and institutional environment of the institute. It helped them understand their courses, rules, opportunities and support systems in a simple and clear manner. The programme created a welcoming atmosphere and gave students the confidence and motivation to begin their academic journey with clarity and enthusiasm.
