Industrial Visit to New Holland Agriculture
The Department of Commerce & Management at Ishan Educational Institutions organized an industrial visit to New Holland Agriculture on 22nd September 2025 for BBA and B.Com students. New Holland Agriculture is a well-known global brand in the field of agricultural machinery and is part of a leading international organization known for manufacturing advanced tractors and farm equipment. Its Greater Noida plant is a modern, large-scale manufacturing facility spread over a wide area, with the capacity to produce thousands of tractors annually across multiple models. The company is recognized for its focus on quality, innovation, safety and efficient production systems. The visit was arranged to help students understand how a real manufacturing plant works and to connect classroom learning with practical knowledge.
Beginning and Plant Visit
Students were welcomed in the conference hall and introduced to the company by the HR Head. The plant head explained the overall working of the factory. Students learned about tractor production and how different departments work together.
Manufacturing Process
- Students visited different sections of the plant and saw the production process step by step.
- They observed the Machine House where initial work on parts is done.
- They understood both capital-intensive and labour-intensive methods used in production.
- The painting area was shown, with safety rules explained due to chemicals.
- Final testing of tractors was also demonstrated to ensure quality before dispatch.
Learning Experience and Overall Outcome
Students learned about safety measures, cleanliness and working standards in the plant. They interacted with HR staff, engineers and plant heads, and their questions were answered in detail. The visit helped students gain real-world exposure and better understanding of industrial operations. It improved their confidence and practical knowledge and helped them connect their studies with actual industry practices.
